  • Clinical Records: Session notes related to Therapy, Somatic/IFS, therapeutic art reflections, and spiritual coaching goals.

  • Web Data: IP addresses and basic cookies if you use our website contact form or booking software.

3. Purpose of Collection
Your information is used strictly to:

  • Deliver high-quality Therapy, Healing and Coaching services.

  • Manage scheduling and billing for sessions.

  • Comply with professional and legal standards for record-keeping.

4. Limits to Confidentiality (The Exceptions)
While your information is strictly confidential, BC law requires disclosure without your consent in the following rare circumstances:

  • Safety: Imminent risk of grave harm to yourself or a third party.

  • Protection of Children/Elders: Suspected abuse or neglect of a child (under 19) or a vulnerable adult.

  • Legal Action: A valid court order or subpoena for records.

By beginning services or using our website contact form, you provide express consent for the collection of your data as outlined here. You may withdraw this consent at any time, though it may limit our ability to provide services.

6. Safeguards & Storage
We protect your data using administrative, physical, and technical measures:

  • Digital: Secure, encrypted platforms for virtual sessions and record-keeping.

  • Physical: All paper records are stored in locked cabinets within the studio.

  • Data Residency: We strive to use Canadian-based servers whenever possible to meet BCACC recommendations.

7. Retention
Clinical records are typically retained for  16 years after the final session to meet insurance and legal requirements before being securely destroyed.

8. Your Rights
You have the right to:

  • Access your personal records upon written request.

  • Request corrections to factual inaccuracies in your record.

  • File a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC (OIPC) if you feel your privacy has been breached.
