When we think of a teacup, we think of "containment"—of warmth, memories, and the hands that have held it before us. In the sanctuary, we know that sometimes our internal parts feel like a well-loved saucer: beautiful, but perhaps slightly chipped or chipped or separated from the whole.

About the event
The Somatic & IFS Connection:
The "Core Self" Saucer: At the top of your wreath sits a primary saucer, representing your Core Self—the calm, clear, and compassionate centre that holds all other parts.
Mending the Rupture (Kintsugi Module): We will intentionally break a teacup or saucer to represent a part of our history that has felt "fractured." Using professional adhesives and shimmering gold leaf, we will mend the pieces back together. These golden seams do not hide the damage; they celebrate the object's unique story and resilience.
The Circle of Parts: We will arrange teacups/ saucers around the centre to represent your internal "Family." Each cup/ saucer holds a different part: a delicate floral cup for a vulnerable Exile, or a sturdy, heavy-handled mug for a hard-working Protector.
A Unified Whole: We will physically "mend" these disparate pieces—including your newly mended golden saucer—into a single, unified wreath. This act of construction is a somatic metaphor for internal harmony—taking…
