Service Description

I bring the safe harbour directly to your doorstep. My name is Sheena Tiicham Muir. As an Autistic Artisan, a Somatic/IFS Practitioner, and an M.A. Candidate in Counselling Psychology, I believe that every unique "operating system" deserves a sanctuary. My mobile service eliminates travel anxiety and executive dysfunction by bringing a low-sensory, tactile, and therapeutic art experience directly into your home or learning space. Neuroaffirmative Support for Children & Youth Recommended for: Parents looking for low-demand child development and behavioural mentoring, and for families who struggle to leave the house. When a child is melting down, withdrawing, or struggling with big emotional shifts, traditional behaviour charts and rigid consequences often backfire. For neurodivergent (ASD/AuDHD) or trauma-reactive youth, forcing performance only increases internal anxiety. I help you decode your child's behaviour and nervous system signals by treating behaviour as a message, not a defect. Through low-demand parallel play and specialized sensory art, I provide a safe, neuroaffirming space where "unmasking" is celebrated. Using sensory-rich materials like clay, light-play, and printmaking, I partner with families using a connection-first framework to help children: • Safely externalize heavy emotions (like rage, fear, or frustration) when verbal communication feels too difficult. • Identify their unique sensory thresholds and track their internal regulation levels. • Build authentic self-advocacy and emotional vocabulary without shame or forced masking. This collaborative approach reduces physiological stress and allows young makers to communicate their needs effectively. I work closely not only with your child but with you as well, equipping you with the tools to deeply understand the true needs behind the behaviour. Unmask•Ground•Reconnect

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy 1. Cancellation Notice Participants wishing to cancel or reschedule their session must provide at least 24 hours' notice via email or phone. This allows time to offer the spot to someone on the waiting list. 2. Late Cancellation Fee If at least 24 hours' notice is provided, a refund will be issued minus a 20% administrative fee to cover credit card processing and administrative time. 3. Rescheduling Option: To support your commitment to this work and avoid the 20% administrative fee, you may choose to apply 100% of your payment as a credit toward a future session. This credit must be used within 90 days of the original appointment date. 4. Grace Policy for Emergencies: I understand that life and health emergencies happen. You are granted up to three “grace” cancellations per calendar year where the cancellations fee will be waived. To maintain the consistency required for this therapeutic work, grace cancellations are limited to one per four-month cycle. Beyond these, the standard 24-hour notice and fees will apply.
